Data Reporting Specialist

Job Description:

• Designing, building, and deploying automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools.

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks.

• Create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations.

• Identify KPIs with clear objectives and monitor them consistently.

Job Requirements:

• One year of experience in tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, PowerBI, and DAX.

• One year of experience with a self-service tool such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design, and more.

• Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications.

• Basic knowledge of UI/UX design.

• Ability to communicate with business as well as technical teams.

• Have an analytical and problem-solving mindset and approach.

• Familiarity with scripting and programming.

• BS or MS in computer science is highly preferred.

• Certification in one of the reporting tools is highly preferred.
